I heard this song over 'Yahoo! Music radio' and I couldn't stop thinking about it. It's very special and I pray it touches your hearts as much as it has touched mine.
You can hear it by clicking on this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzhFyNp3Ja8
It's just over 5mins long.
Moral is, never underestimate the small favours you do for others. "Great is your Reward". God Bless you all ALWAYS!
I dreamed I went to heaven And you were there with me;
We walked upon the streets of gold Beside the crystal sea.
We heard the angels singing Then someone called your name.
We turned and saw a young man running And he was smiling as he came.
And he said, "Friend you may not know me now."
And then he said, "But wait, You used to teach my Sunday School When I was only eight.
And every week you would say a prayer Before the class would start.
And one day when you said that prayer, I asked Jesus in my heart."
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am so glad you gave.
Then another man stood before you And said, "Remember the time
A missionary came to your church And his pictures made you cry.
You didn't have much money, But you gave it anyway.
Jesus took the gift you gave And that's why I'm here today."
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am so glad you gave.
One by one they came Far as the eye could see.
Each life somehow touched By your generosity.
Little things that you had done, Sacrifices made,
Unnoticed on the earth In heaven, now proclaimed.
And I know up in heaven You're not supposed to cry
But I am almost sure There were tears in your eyes.
As Jesus took your hand And you stood before the Lord.
He said, "My child, look around you. Great is your reward."
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am so glad you gave.

Books Galore
Wednesday was a state holiday (Selangor) and while hubby dearest went to work early in the morning, I slept in :-) I did have some errands in KLCC so i meet up with him later in the afternoon.
He had a meeting at 5pm so i had about 2hrs to spare. I did try to do a normal girly gal thing: window shopping at parkson, Isetan and Vincci, but I just couldn't find anything that I really liked! I decided to have a cup of coffee at my favorite coffee place, StarBucks. Of course, when alone, a coffee without a book just seems soooooo boring! I decided to buy myself a book first from Kinokuniya.
My thoughts as I walked around:"What book would be interesting? hmmm.... Pillar's of the earth? I saw that on Opera the other day. Seems so interesting! Thick enough to last me a couple of holidays as well.... ok... let's get that."
Walking a little further and saw this book "The 5 people you meet in Heaven"
"hmmmm..... Kelly was recommending this highly! I read Mitch Albom's other book "Tuesdays with Morrie" and that was amazing. I'm sure this would be just as good!
Picked up the book and walked further:
"Since I'm here, I wonder if they have the other book recommended by Opera... I think I need a self improvement book anyway. Oh... Mr Mano also recommended it. Let me ask someone if they have the book"
Crystal: Do you have the book 'A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose'?"
Gal @ counter: Yes :-) We do.
Crystal: Thank You!!!
Crystal thinking after getting the book:"RM39.75? hmmm.... not too bad! Wonder if they have a discount? hehhehee....."
As I walk to the counter, I notice a book "Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus""hmmmmm.... I always wanted to read this book! Even Tania emailed me about it once years ago! ok... I'm getting it"
I walked out with 4 books!!! Just to have a coffee alone in StarBucks! hayoooo......!!! For someone who hated reading, I have to say marriage did change me.... It made me read... and I'm enjoying it!!! My Literature teacher (Ms Fu) would have been so proud!
I suddenly felt like a girly gal cos I spent that much (RM126) at one go! But on books? hehehheeee.... at least I know it's not wasted. I bought GOOD books at discounted prices and I know I'll read it :-) Also, if anyone wants to borrow them, let me know!
Have a great weekend!
